At last we have a finished video section, with clips ranging from about 1965
to December 1999. If anyone has video not featured here, let me know!
Each clip has been 'compressed' to make the size small enough to download,
but this also reduces the quality. Higher quality versions are
available on CD if anyone wants them. Even with compression a few of
these clips are likely to take a long time (30 - 60 minutes) to download on
a standard Internet connection, although there are many smaller clips which
will download and play in just a few minutes.
If you want to avoid
downloading the files, get
the CD! The CD contains all pictures and higher quality versions
of video clips from this site.
Clips can be played by left clicking either the image or the link below the
image. You will be asked to enter a username and password each time
(this is the web server not me). (Use the username and password
that you used to access this site.)
If
you don't have a fast Broadband connection, playback of these videos will be
very jerky initially, until the entire file has downloaded.
Alternatively, right click the links or pictures and choose 'Save Target as'
to save a copy to your own PC (recommended way of doing it).
Once the download has finished, videos can be played smoothly by opening the
downloaded copy on your PC.
